Today is the book parade at school where Ethan is to dress up like his favorite character from a book. He loves the Nate the Great books, which is a story about a little boy who solves mysteries. I was fortunate to find some great deals at the thrift store to make his costume and I had a lot of fun. Hopefully, you can’t see my mistake. ![]()

I think it’s a woman’s coat but it was in the men’s section of the thrift store. I cut about 2 feet off the bottom and a foot off each sleeve.

Yes, the hot glue gun did the trick. I used some clamps on it until it dried.
